In Loving Memory of Dever Charlemon
Dever Charlemon, beloved father and devoted friend passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2025. He was 66 years old.
Born on September 30, 1958, in Gonaives, Haiti, Dever dedicated his life to supporting his family and making their lives better, one small act at a time. As a father, he cared deeply for his daughter, Kenesha, always supporting her dreams and celebrating her achievements. His pride in her was evident to all who knew him.
Dever was known for his unwavering willingness to help others. Whether it was a neighbor in need or a colleague at work, he was always the first to help. His exceptional skills as a maintenance worker meant he could fix anything, and he took great joy in making the day-to-day lives of everyone around him better.
His legacy of kindness, patience, dedication, and love will live on in the hearts of those fortunate enough to know him. He leaves behind his daughter, Kenesha; his brother, Saintalere Altidor; doting nieces and nephews, Julie, Getro, Toun Toun, and Talex; his sisters-in-law, Kennedy, Yanick, and Angel; his mother-in-law, Christine; and countless friends and colleagues who will miss him dearly. Dever was predeceased by his loving wife, Betty Rosier.
A funeral service in memory of Dever will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at 11:00 am at the funeral home to celebrate his life and the many ways he touched the lives of others. In lieu of flowers, we would like donations may be made in memory of Dever Charlemon to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network to support research toward a cure for pancreatic cancer.
