Mr. Pappas was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Bette V. Pappas; 2 sons, Todd J. (Megan) Pappas, Deke K. (Julie) Pappas; daughter, Lauryn E. (Chick) Evans; grandson, Nicolas; 4 granddaughters, Alexandra, Jessica, Allison, Swarupa and brother, George T. (Susan) Pappas.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Thomas & Stella Pappas and his brother, James T. Pappas.
Private family services were held. A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date.
