DAVID LUND
David Lund, age 76, of St. Petersburg, Florida, formerly of Palm Beach County, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 5, 2026.
David was born on June 28, 1949, in Bracebridge, Ontario, Canada, to the late John and Alice Lund.
David dedicated much of his life to Freemasonry and remained actively involved throughout his adult years. A Mason for more than 50 years, he served as Past Master of Boynton Lodge No. 236, F. & A.M., and Past Patron of the Order of the Eastern Star, Boynton Chapter No. 238, which later merged with Lake Worth Chapter No. 111. He was also a member of the Scottish Rite, Valley of Lake Worth, receiving the honor of Knight Commander Court of Honour (KCCH) in 1987 and being invested as a 33rd Degree Scottish Rite Mason in 2001.
Above all, David was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend who cherished time with his family and touched many lives through his kindness, generosity, and dedication to others.
David is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Cindy Mead Lund; his children and their spouses, Dorothy and Ron Wissler, Lucinda and Kevin Frost, and CJ and Amber Lund; his grandchildren, Meghan, Patrick, Victoria, Avery, and Anna; his great-grandchildren, Millianna and Myles; and his brother, John Lund.
A Celebration of David's Life will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at the Masonic Home of Florida, 3201 1st Street N.E., St. Petersburg, Florida 33704.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Masonic Home of Florida in David's memory.
