David Stuart Carlyle Cordrey

David Stuart Carlyle Cordrey “Dave”, age 62, of Lake Worth, Florida passed away on February 15, 2023.
Born November 7, 1960 in Harare, Zimbabwe, Dave later attended Francis Marion University, graduated with a degree in Political Science and played for the FMU tennis team.
After graduating, Dave began his career at the Myrtle Beach Tennis Club until he took the job as the Head Men’s and Women’s Tennis Coach at Francis Marion University. After several years of coaching, Dave took the job as the Tennis Director at Raleigh Racquet Club.
Dave became the Tennis Director at Hunter’s Run Country Club back in 1995 and developed the tennis program there for 26 years. He also had a love of golf and riding motorcycles. Weekends at the track or on the course with his friends and family were his favorite!
Dave will be lovingly remembered by his beloved wife, Amanda of 39 years, his loving children; Alex and Carlyle (Lucia) Cordrey, his granddaughter; Graziella Cordrey; his mother; Kathy Cordrey, his brother; Graham (Caroline) Cordrey; his sister; Mandy (Andy) Little; his nephew and godson; Arran Little; his niece; Amy Little; and nephew; Dan (Maria) Cordrey and their children Kate and Luke. Dave was predeceased by his father Richard Carlyle Cordrey.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held in memory of Dave on Friday, March 3, 2023, at 4:00 pm at Boynton Beach Community Church.
