David Bilodeau, 67, passed away on Tuesday, April 19th at his home in Port Charlotte, Florida. He was born on November 11, 1948 in Natick, Massachusetts to David and Hilda Bilodeau.
Dave grew up in Holliston, Massachusetts, graduating from Holliston High School in 1966. He attended college at the University of Maine, Orono, where he received a BS in Engineering. He worked in construction throughout his career, first for Ashland Oil, and for the past 20 years, for Hardrives, Inc.
Dave loved baseball, The Beatles, slapstick comedy and his dog, Sofie. He enjoyed life and was always the life of the party. Anyone who knew him well would tell you that he was really always a boy at heart. When his time came, he was unafraid and left peacefully.
Dave is survived by his daughters Nicky, Danny, Sean and Kelly, his mother, Hilda, siblings Steven and Cheryl, grandchildren, Ivy, Sofia, Brayden, Luke and Brady, great-grandson Rowan, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Dave was preceded in death by his father, David “Barney” Bilodeau and his youngest sister Lisa Bilodeau.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 30 beginning at 11 a.m. at Scobee-Combs-Bowden Funeral Home, corner of US Hwy. #1 & NE 15th Avenue., Boynton Beach, Florida 33435, followed by a reception at Pepe’s Hideaway, 1045 E Atlantic Ave, Delray Beach, FL 33483.
