Dan was born April 25, 1930 in Flushing, New York to the late Earl R. Ellis and Sophie Verona Ellis. Dan was a Retired U.S. Navy Veteran.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie in 2014 but is survived by his 3 nephews and 1 niece, Daniel (fiancé, Shelly) Ellis, Tommy Ellis, Bobby Ellis, Jimmy Ellis and Linda Ellis.
A Committal Service with U.S. Navy Military Honors will be held Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at 10:30 AM at South Florida National Cemetery, 6501 South State Road 7, Lake Worth, Florida. Please gather in Lane 1.
