Dan D. D’Angelo (The Big D)
Age 83 of Boynton Beach, Florida, born on January 17, 1938 in Brooklyn, NY to Vincenzo and Angelina D’Angelo passed away on February 24, 2021.
He is survived by his wife Erica Pfaffenberger D’Angelo and his brother Chuck D’Angelo, sons; James, Daniel & Robert D’Angelo, grandchildren; Phoebe, Lia, Nicholas, Christopher and Matthew.
Dan graduated from Lafayette H.S. Brooklyn, NY and attended Brooklyn College Brooklyn, NY.
He served 1 year in the U.S. Army and 10 years in the U.S. Army Reserves.
He was a retired Volunteer Fireman for the City of Pearl River, NY, retired Terminal Manager for Penske Automotive Logistics and served on the Board of Trustees; International Brotherhood of Teamsters.
The Big D loved his family, his country, his mountain and spending Happy Hour with friends.
A lifelong trout fisherman, Big D spent countless hours trolling the waters of Lake Placid with his wife Erica, & fly fishing on the Ausable Rivers in Michigan and New York. Tight Lines!
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at St. Joseph Episcopal Church, Boynton Beach, Florida.
