Cristian Gaitan (48) passed away peacefully at Memorial West Hospital
in Pembroke Pines, Florida on March 4, 2021 after losing his battle with
Acute Myeloid Leukemia.
He is survived by his wife, Kristina Gaitan, his two daughters, Isabella
and Shelby, his mother Ligia Segura Gaitan and his nine siblings: Cesar
Gaitan, Doris Rubiano, Tobias Gaitan, Zoraida Gaitan, Nestor Gaitan,
Maryluz Bernal, Rocio Bernal, Pilar Cardona and Sharon Gaitan and their
beautiful families whom he loved very much.
Cristian was born in Bogota, Colombia and came to the United States at
the early age of thirteen with his family. The family first resided in San
Antonio, Texas before moving to West Palm Beach, Florida in 1988
where he attended John I Leonard High School. In October 1993 God
provided him with the love of his life, Kristina, and they were married in
1996 before the eyes of the Lord. They have been graced with their two
beautiful girls whom were everything to him.
In 2003 he opened his company, CKG Painting, Inc. Cristian was well
loved by his clients and anyone whom met him, as he was a genuinely
good person, always looking to give a helping hand and provide a
service to people that was above expectations. He was a “good soul”
as many clients have called him in the recent days. Cristian’s family
plans to keep his legacy alive by continuing to keep the company open.
Cristian loved spending time with his family, taking his girls out on the
boat, vacationing in the Keys or taking a camping trip with his family
and friends. He enjoyed living life to the fullest and was always a happy,
outgoing person. Anyone he met he touched their life in a special way.
A Celebration of Life service is scheduled for Saturday, April 3, 2021 at
6:00 pm at his residence at 13882 72nd Court N., West Palm Beach, FL

The family would like to express their gratitude to the Hematology /

Hospital for their support and for not giving up the fight. The family has
been truly blessed to have them as Cristian’s medical staff and for their
continued support. The family will be forever grateful for their
compassion and their willingness to keep fighting for him and for all
patients in their care. The family would also like to thank the friends
and clients for the ongoing support during this difficult time. WE HAVE BEEN TRULY BLESSED BY ALL OF YOU.
