Charlene “Char” Mae Weaver 81, of Jupiter Fl. Passed away on Sunday December 31,2023.

Born on May 4, 1942 in Humboldt, NE, raised in Mentor, OH and moved to Florida in May 1965.

Char enjoyed her many years as a Librarian at North Broward School in Lighthouse Point, Fl and later worked at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, FL. Her greatest passion was sewing, her family and friends marveled at her talent. She was able to create anything from wedding dresses to crafts for her grandchildren. She was a reader and lover of all books, an avid fan of Jeopardy and could answer almost every question. She loved cooking and baking, and made the best fudge around ! Most of all she loved spending time with her family and being “Grammy” to her grandchildren.

Char will be lovingly remembered by her children; Sandra Weaver, Valerie Owens (Alan) and Susan Stoudt (Scott) her doting grandchildren; Gina, Kim, Nick, Shelby, Scotty, Erica and Robbie. Her great grandchildren Kaden, Mason, Kaitlyn, Devin, Jaxsin, and Alexa. Nieces and Nephews Chrissy, Karen, David, Bill and Tom and by her brother Charles “Skip” King Gribble (Sue). Char was predeceased by her parents Charles King, Lorna Mae (Uhri) Gribble; and sister Patricia Anderson (Glen). Also her sons Richard Price Weaver, Robert Charles Weaver and grandson Dyllan Jesse Weaver.

Funeral service in memory of Char will be held on Saturday, January 06, 2024 at 11:00 am at Boca Raton Cemetery, Boca Raton, FL.
