CHARLENE PORTER
Charlene Porter, 85, went to be with the Lord on April 27, 2014, after an extended illness.
She was a longtime resident of Boynton Beach, FL before moving to Kingsport, TN.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley C. Porter and two brothers, Robert and Charles Clendening.
She was a former bookkeeper/accountant with the Blair Construction Company in Delray Beach. Charlene loved her family, music, dancing and playing the organ.
She is survived by her daughters, Jeanette L. Porter, Tammy S. (Michael) Lovrekovic; sons, Donald (Cindy) Shelhamer, Michael J. (Carol) Shelhamer; along with several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Friend will be received from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM on Friday, May 2, 2014 at Scobee-Combs-Bowden Funeral Home, corner of US Hwy. #1 & NE 15th Avenue, Boynton Beach followed by a Graveside Service at 11:00 AM at Boynton Beach Memorial Park.
