Carl A. Dicintio, age 70, of Boynton Beach, FL, so sweet and gentle, passed from us in the early morning of Sunday, January 29, 2023.
Born February 26, 1952, in Brooklyn, NY to Fred and Mary Dicintio, Carl later moved to Edison, New Jersey before moving to Florida.
Carl worked for New Jersey Bell for 15 years and for 33 years was a devoted Wal-Mart Customer Service Manager as well as working their Theft Protection.
Carl was the sunshine and joy of his family’s lives, and his children were the center of his life. His children loved their father dearly and were in constant contact with him through visits, calls, texts, and Facebook entries. When the children visited, the family sat poolside or in the family room talking and laughing over coffee and sports. His hobbies included playing BINGO, the slots, Florida scratch offs, and going to arcades and casinos. Carl also followed the Miami Dolphins, Miami Heat, Florida Panthers, NY Giants and was a die-hard Red Sox fan.
There was not a kinder, sweeter or lovelier person than Carl. Carl will be lovingly remembered by his devoted wife, Nancy, of 51 years, his daughters; Leslie Dicintio (partner, CJ), Carla Dicintio (partner, Russell) and Melissa Dicintio (pitbull, Jake); grandchildren; Kyle, Ashton (wife, Cindy), Zachary (partner, Garryne) and Kayla (boyfriend, Damien); great-grandson, William “Little Lion”; his sister-in-laws and brother-in-law and their children as well as many cousins. Carl was predeceased by his parents and his beloved Papillon, Peanut, who was his princess. Carl’s legacy will live on in the hearts and memories of all who knew him.
A visitation is scheduled for Friday, February 10th from 2-4pm and 6-8pm with a 6pm service at Scobee-Combs-Bowden Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, a contribution toward funeral expenses would be appreciated.
