CALVIN “CAL” CHARLES URBEN
Age 93 of Boynton Beach died April 29, 2015 at his home.
Cal was born in Pittsburgh, PA, son of Sylvester and Marie Urben. He served in World War II as a Combat Cameraman with the 5th Air Force in the Pacific. Cal retired from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Insurance Department as an Investigator Specialist. He ushered at St. Thomas More Catholic Church for over 29 years.
Cal is survived by his wife of 69 years, Grace Ann (White) Urben and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Sunday, May 3, 2015 at Scobee-Combs-Bowden Funeral Home, corner of US Hwy. #1 & NE 15th Ave., Boynton Beach. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Monday, May 4, 2015 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 10935 South Military Trail, Boynton Beach. Entombment will follow at Palm Beach Memorial Park Mausoleum with Military Honors.
