Age 90 of Boynton Beach passed away on December 15, 2015. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Bernice and his children, William, Loretta and Robert. Also surviving are 3 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and many nieces & nephews.
Bill was a veteran of World War II serving as a Navy Radioman and a 1947 graduate of the University of Michigan. He was the owner of Hayes & Associates Insurance Agency and was the President of the Delray Beach Lions Club twice.
Friends will be received from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Thursday, Dec. 17, 2015 (today) at Scobee-Combs-Bowden Funeral Home, corner of US Hwy. #1 & NE 15th Ave., Boynton Beach. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Friday, Dec. 18, 2015 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Boynton Beach. Interment will follow at the South Florida National Cemetery, Lake Worth.
