Barbara died peacefully in her sleep Dec. 16, 2013 in Boynton Beach after battling Alzheimer's Disease. Born Aug. 31, 1936, raised in Monticello, NY, she spent her career as a dedicated employee of the North Miami Beach Police Department. She is preceded in death by her brother, Michael and parents, Ben and Anne; survived by husband, Michael; son, Larry; daughter-in-law, Becky Sicking; grandchild, Kate and brother, Alvin Schneider. Friends will be received at 1:00 PM on Friday, Dec. 20, 2013 at Scobee-Combs-Bowden Funeral Home, corner of US Hwy. #1 & NE 15th Ave., Boynton Beach. The Graveside Service will be held at 2:15 PM on Friday, Dec. 20, 2013 at the South Florida National Cemetery, 6501 South State Road 7, Lake Worth, Florida.
