BARBARA L. KENNEDY
Age 85 of Boynton Beach passed away Saturday, January 31, 2015 at Bethesda Memorial Hospital East with her family by her side. Barbara was born on October 15, 1929 in Manheim, West Virginia to the late Harold E. & Ethel McCarty Lenker. Barbara was a Registered Nurse since 1950 and continued caring for others for the duration of her life. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Kennedy and her twin sister, Margaret Odom.
Barbara is survived by her 3 children and their spouses, Judith Kennedy Mazis & Glen Mazis, Jill Kennedy & Paul Schmeck, John S. & Beth Kennedy; sister, Patricia Ramseyer; brother, James S. Lenker; 4 grandchildren, Zachary & his wife, Beth Wilkins, Shannon Wilkins & her fiancé, Paul Ginder, Logan Koch and Christian Kennedy; 3 great grandchildren, Cameron Wilkins, Cole Wilkins and Skyler Brandyberry.
A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, February 5, 2015 at 11:00 AM at First United Methodist Church, 101 Seacrest Blvd., Boynton Beach with Rev. Clark Edwards officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Boynton Beach in Barbara’s memory.
