AUGUSTINE DUVERSIN
Age 82, died in the city of Boynton Beach on November 7, 2019. She was born in Petit Goave, Haiti as Augustine Rampleur. She left Haiti for Nassau, Bahamas in November of 1963 and then to Miami, Florida shortly thereafter. Augustine held many positions while living in Florida from being a business owner, to be a security guard to working for the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office. Augustine became a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church in the late 1980’s until her passing. While at St. Thomas More she was involved in many events such as the “Night of Columbus” and going on missions to Jamaica to assist Father Roland’s orphans. She loved her church family very much. Augustine was a pillar in her community and was very passionate about making a difference. She is survived by her son, Yves, daughter-in-law, Carlene and 6 grandchildren. She is also survived by Carlene’s mother, Marie; adoptive granddaughter, Astride and her husband Erik and their 2 children.
Augustine is loved by many and will be missed tremendously.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Friday, November 15, 2019 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Boynton Beach, Florida. The Committal Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at Our Lady Queen of Peace Cemetery, Royal Palm Beach.
