Antoinette "Nettie" Marino

age 101 of Boynton Beach passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2016.
Nettie was born November 23, 1914 in New York City to the late Giovanni & Gaetana Arcuni Urso. She was a Supervisor in the Garment District of New York City before retiring to Boynton Beach. Nettie was very active in the Colonial Club Community and enjoyed knitting, crocheting and playing cards. She was well known for her handcrafted Christmas stockings which she made for her family and friends.
Besides her parents, Nettie was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 42 years, Pasquale, her son, Raymond and her grandson, Paul Marino.
She is survived by her sisters, Mary and Jean; son and daughter-in-law, James & Joan Marino; daughter-in-law, MiMae Marino; 8 grandchildren, Marc Marino, Angela Miller (Chuck), Dawn Pranis (Chris), Barbara Sweitzer (David), Dona Marino O’Connor (Brian), Minna Chang, and Sandra Marino Bryson (Jeff); 11 great grandchildren, Melany Marino, Max Marino, Aerie Liang, Charles Miller, Julianna Sweitzer, Ava Bryson, Matthew Sweitzer, Daniel Sweitzer, Joseph Bryson and Kylie O’Connor; Nephew, Thomas Castellani (Georgianna); Niece, Lorraine Howard (Edward)
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church, 840 George Bush Boulevard, Delray Beach, Florida. Nettie will be laid to rest next to her late husband, Pasquale in St. John’s Catholic Cemetery in Middle Village, New York.
