ANNA F. ORMSBY
of Boynton Beach, Florida passed away March 13, 2018 one day after her 100th birthday.
She was born in Guttenberg, New Jersey to the late Anna & Frank Fosnar Sr.
Anna was valedictorian of her grammar school class and her high school class and she loved to read. In 1945 she married John Pavlik and they were blessed with one child, Joanne Pavlik.
Anna was a Brownie Leader, a Girl Scout Leader and worked in the local bank in Williamstown, New Jersey for many years. Anna loved the Lord and was a member of Son Life Lutheran Church in Boynton Beach, Florida since 2001.
After her husband John went to be with the Lord in 1975, Anna married George Ormsby in 1978. Following the passing of George in 2004, Anna went to live with her daughter Joanne in Boynton Beach for 13 years. The last 2 1/2 years Anna lived at Morse Life in West Palm Beach, Florida.
Besides her parents and her 2 husbands, Anna was preceded in death by her 4 older brothers, Frank Jr., John, William and Edward Fosnar.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Joanne Pavlik of Boynton Beach; her loving family by her marriage to George which included stepdaughter, Gail Byers and her husband Dana of Georgetown, Kentucky; a granddaughter, Bonnie Byers, great grandchildren Christie, Jason and Nicholas Byers and a great great granddaughter, Melody Byers, all of East Granby, Connecticut; granddaughter, Julie Combs and her husband Mike and great grandchildren, Anderson and Evan, all of Windermere, Florida.
A Celebration of Anna’s Life will be held at Son Life Lutheran Church, 9301 Jog Road, Boynton Beach, Florida at 1:00 PM on Saturday, April 28, 2018 with a reception immediately following.
