Anna-Mi (Mommo) Mattson, born in Pietarsaari, Finland, on March 22, 1922, died peacefully in her sleep on Monday, June 15, 2020, in Delray Beach, FL. She was predeceased by the love of her life, Erik Mattson, with whom she shared a birthday, several siblings, and her daughter Avor Breiner. Anna-Mi is survived by her son, Erik Mattson, daughter Dorothy Ramsey, several siblings overseas, three grandchildren, Jill, Jonathan, and Matthew, and four great-grandchildren, Stella, Penelope, Benjamin, and Jack. She and her family immigrated from Kållby, Finland, to Canada and eventually, the United States, in the mid-twentieth century. A brilliant craftswoman, Anna-Mi handmade beautiful clothes for her children. True to the women of her lineage, she was of strong, stoic, Scandinavian stock, having lived well into her nineties, and was as sweet as the sprinkle of sugar on her famous vetebröd.
