71, peacefully passed away on Oct 20th at her home in Boynton Beach. She was born on March 10, 1943 in Cincinnati, Ohio to
Lambert and Marguerite Cochran. She graduated from Withrow High School in Cincinnati in 1961. Anita relocated to Florida in the late 1960’s. She was well known in the legal community of West Palm Beach where she had worked as a secretary and paralegal for many years. Anita also devoted much of her time as a volunteer at St. Mary’s Hospital.
Anita is the beloved mother of daughter Alison and son-in –law David Coffman and treasured grandmother of Cassandra and Bradley. She is also survived by her brother and sister-in-law Thomas and Marjorie Cochran of Oregon, nieces and nephews Brian (Evelyn) Cochran, Katherine (Eric)
Searcy, Timothy (Carol) Cochran and Beth (Jim) Thomsen and many loving friends. Anita will be deeply missed by all.
A Memorial Service celebrating her life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 30 at Scobee-Combs-Bowden Funeral Home & Crematory, corner of US Hwy 1 & NE 15th Avenue, Boynton Beach.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to St. Mary’s Hospital (Neo-natal Unit), Faith Farms, Salvation Army, or Goodwill.
