Alan Gross, age 63, passed away at his home on December 26, 2025, in Delray Beach, Florida. Born in Brooklyn, New York, on July 25, 1962, he was the son of Ronald Gross and the late Lois Gross.
Alan carried his New York roots with him throughout his life. He built a long and successful career in sales and insurance, working tirelessly to support and provide for his family, something he took great pride in.
Alan will be remembered for his unwavering dedication to his family, his kindness, and his natural ability to make people laugh and feel at ease. He lived with a steady belief that no matter the situation, 'It’ll always work itself out.'
Alan found joy in life’s simple and meaningful pleasures. He loved playing tennis, fishing, listening to classic rock, and spending time by the water. The Catskill Mountains held a special place in his heart, where he grew up spending his summers.
Above all else, Alan adored his daughters, his dogs, and the time spent with those he loved.
Alan is survived by his daughters, Ryan and Corey; his siblings, Lori, Michael (Lorraine), and Robert (Chris); his father, Ronald; and several nieces and nephews.
To honor Alan’s memory and his commitment to helping others, the family encourages donations be made to Faith Farm. Alan was deeply generous with his time and heart and believed strongly in helping others. He gave back in many ways, offering support, encouragement, and understanding within the rehabilitation community. His compassion, shaped by lived experience, made people feel seen, supported, and never alone.
To celebrate his life, the family will gather privately this summer in the Catskill Mountains, returning Alan to the place where he felt most at peace.
