Henry Bean 7/7/1927—1/27/22 When dad went to sleep on January 26, 2022, he left this world in peace and woke up in eternity. He was the last surviving child of Ed and Lala Bean’s eleven children who all preceded him in death. He was born in Quitman, Georgia, July 7, 1927, and was blessed to have lived to the age of 94. He was married on December 20, 1947, to Lue Lillian Cooks and to this union six children were born: Henry W., James, Inez, Michael, David and Tracy. He leaves to cherish his memory his sons: Henry W. (Ruth), James (Shirley), Michael (Patricia), David (Natasha) and Tracy and his girlfriend Phylis, his grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces, family and friends. Friends will be received at Scobee-Combs-Bowden Funeral Home, 599 N.E. 15th Avenue, Boynton Beach, Florida on Thursday, February 3, 2022 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. The Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 AM with Apostle Alonzo C. Neal Sr. of The Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus Missionary Baptist Church of Pompano Beach, Florida presiding. A Commital Service will be held Saturday, February 19, 2022 at 9:30 AM at the Delray Beach Memorial Gardens, 700 S.W. 8th Ave. (corner of S.W. 8th Ave. and S.W. 10th Street), Delray Beach.
