Howard Ronald Contant

Howard Ronald Contant passed away at the age of 87 on July 6th, 2022 surrounded by family and friends.
Howard was raised in Cincinnati Ohio where he graduated from Western Hills High School. After graduation, Howard went into the military. Upon returning home, Howard married his high school sweetheart Betty Behne. They packed up everything and moved to Fort Lauderdale Florida in 1956 and started a family.
Howard worked for Rudy Stone for a few years before starting his own company, American Brick Company. In 1967 Howard moved to Boca Raton with Betty and his four children. While in Boca Raton, his business flourished and needed to expand so he purchased 5 acres on West Palmetto Park Road and moved his family there in 1976. In 1986, Howard sold his property in Boca Raton and moved to Deep Gap North Carolina just outside Boone, NC where he semi-retired before retiring full time in Boynton Beach Florida in 2015.
Howard is preceded by Betty Contant, his mother Stella Contant, father Harold Contant and brother Robert Contant. Howard leaves behind his son Dale Contant and daughter-in-law Keely, his daughter Nancy Guthrie and son-in-law Doug, his son John Contant and daughter-in-law Andrea and his son Stuart Contant, as well as twelve grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Howard enjoyed being with his family, traveling and was a lifelong diehard Cincinnati Reds fan. He will be greatly missed! Rest in PEACE. We miss you and love you!
