Jonathon Paul Campbell, 34 years old a resident of Lake Worth, Florida, passed on Sunday, August 15,2021.
Born August 27, 1986, in Frederick, Maryland, worked at Allied Universal Security Services. He loved the sport of boxing and began his boxing career with the PAL Boxing Club. He achieved featherweight boxing status and retired from boxing after an injury to his knee. He then began re-training for MMA and then moved on to training his friends at Delray Beach Boxing. He participated in a few amateur bouts and his all-time favorite boxer is Sugar Ray Robinson.
It was Jon’s dream to open a boxing gym that would cater to the community. This would take young children off the street. There would also be a barber shop and in the back of the gym would house a podcast studio that would motivate the youth. Jon was always positive, no matter how life tried to knock him down.
He will be lovingly remembered by his mother Mieka, grand-parents, Fred and Jean, aunt and uncle, Paul and Roxanne, Sister, Tatiana, brother and best friend Julian, sons, Malykai and Mason, his children’s mother, Stephanie, roommates and best friends, Jose, Greg, Nelson, Nate, Pedro and Joel, and Daniel loved friends too many to name and Shaun who is now re-united with Jon.
Friends will be received at Scobee-Combs-Bowden Funeral Home, 599 N.E. 15th Avenue, Boynton Beach on Friday, August 20, 2021 from 11 AM to 3 PM with a funeral service at 1 PM.
