Age 98 of Boynton Beach died January 6, 2023. She was a graduate of the Detroit Public Schools. Helen was an only child of Alma Croft and William Hillyard. Since 1967 she had split her time between Florida and Michigan before permanently moving to Boynton Beach in 1979. She retired from General Motors after 32 years of service at Fisher Body in Livonia, MI. Helen was a member of the Jonathan Dickinson Chapter and was also a past Regent of the National Society of Daughters of the American Revolution.
Survivors include her son Timothy of Boynton Beach, two granddaughters, Carolyn Rushing & Erin Meadows and her four great grandchildren, Adam and Christopher Rushing and Kendall and Taylor Meadows, all from Michigan. Proceeding her in death was her husband of 52 years, Henry (1995) and her youngest son, Joseph (2002) and both her parents.
Her cremains will be interred at Cadillac Memorial Gardens West in Westland, Michigan with her husband and son.
