Age 81 of Boynton Beach, FL passed away peacefully on July 5, 2017.
Edith was born on June 7, 1936 in New London, CT. She was formerly from Old Lyme, CT and has resided in Boynton Beach, FL since 1967. She worked at Steven’s Drug Store in the old Winn Dixie shopping center for 12 years.
She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. Edith was an amazing, loving Mother. She dedicated her whole life to her family and husband Peter of 50 years. She loved her children and family unconditionally. She found a friend in all who crossed her path. She was such a special gift to our lives and will be dearly missed and loved forever in our hearts.
Edith was predeceased by her loving husband Peter DeLucia and daughter Dorothy. She is survived by 6 children, Pat/Phil, Sherry, Tom, David, Sandra/Denny, Denise/Craig; 12 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren as well as many extended family and friends.
Friends will be received from 9:30 AM to 11:45 AM on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at Scobee-Combs-Bowden Funeral Home, corner of US Hwy. #1 & NE 15th Ave., Boynton Beach. The Committal Service will follow at 12:45 PM at the South Florida National Cemetery, Lake Worth (Lane #5).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hospice Unit at Bethesda Hospital East in Boynton Beach, Florida in memory of Edith Spring DeLucia.
